I went to Rush Lane because I tried their Manhattan (on the left) in jello form, and was not disappointed. I stayed for the cocktail on the right, the name of which I can’t recall. It features a liqueur I’d never heard of before — Briottet Crème de Figue. It is delicious on its own, as well as as a cocktail base. I’ve learned this is popular in Malta. It should be noted that the first boy I ever crushed on was Maltese. Full circle.
