Sneak peek at one of two cocktails I’ll be serving up on February 1. It’s called The Cobo and it’s bittersweet and strong with a little kick.

Oh yeah! I’m  guest bartending at Rush Lane. If you’re in Toronto, come on out and try my Trinidad inspired libations. Recipes to come below.

Cocktail 1 – The Cobo

  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 4 oz mauby
  • 3/4 oz ginger syrup
Pour all ingredients over ice and stir to chill. Strain into short glass. Garnish with a sliver of fresh ginger.

Cocktail 2 – The Scarlet Ibis (a take on the Cosmo)

  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 oz. sorrel (I’ll provide)
  • 1 twist of orange to garnish

Pour all ingredients over ice and shake. I served it in a coupe, because COUPE.
